WHAT DREAMS ARE MADE OF . . .

This section covers the inspirations, the raison d'etre if you will, for Project,Overland. The why before the how. What was I doing, where did I see myself going and why choose this rather unusual means to make it happen. If you don't get Overlanding, if it seems an impossible sized task, or if you love to explore but living out of a cramped 4x4 doesn't appeal, this is where you should start.

Here we go into more detail, and cover how I approached Project,Overland. Everyone is different and motivated by different things. Typically I would be more interested in what it looks like to someone seeing it going down the road, than say, how you get hot water to shower in. It was important to get that the other way around to make sure any build was capable of doing what I needed it to do.

Come backstage with me, Project, and Rosie as she goes behind the curtain to get changed from a plain old 'humpity bumpity' army truck, into my palace of dreams. Well, at least a cottage of convenience.

It's all documented in this section so you can see the highs and lows and all the drama of a creating such a vehicle. Watch the build come on here and what I either am attempting to do, or actually achieving.

Sadly you have to sit through minutes of ridiculousness in the hope that I will manage to provide a nugget of useful information. Good luck with that. I promise to try to deliver.
